EL, The Definite Article, or Elliot Taylor Dugar, is a multimedia artist from the southwest side of Chicago. EL, his artistic moniker derived from his family's nickname, is befitting as his style is definitively his own. Even in adolescence EL demonstrated a high art proficiency; he has dedicated himself to the mastery of his craft. He graduated from The Illinois Institute of Art with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts Multimedia Degree in 2002. In many ways EL epitomizes the loosely used term, Renaissance Man. He is a painter, pencil and ink artist, photographer, fashion designer, and graphic designer. He has work in both video and musical production, and the list continues to grow. A talent such as this garners a high level of excitement and anticipation. One would be amiss not to continue to observe this one-of- a-kind artistic talent. It is not a matter of will you be amazed. It is only a measure of degree.
