Born May 30th, 1972, on the southwest side of Chicago, author and multimedia artist, Elliot Taylor Dugar, displayed a talent for writing at an early age. The Leclaire Courts community, where he was born and raised, heavily influenced his unique style and perspective. The only son of a single mother of four, Elliot used his vivid imagination to create stories of fascinating and distant worlds; to help him move beyond the confines of everyday life. Inspired by innovative movies and television shows of his era (Star Wars, Battle Star Galactica, The Hobbit) Elliot would write his first 100 page "epic" at age 11. He counts his mother, herself a lifelong writer, as his primary source of inspiration and the reason for his wide range of interest. Prolific in his own right, this author is comfortable writing on any subject and is even adept in creating subjects of his own. Time has only expanded his writing style, quality, and interests.
